As Twitchy reported earlier, the conservative grassroots movement on Twitter is getting under President Obama’s super thin skin. The hashtag #Obamacampaigninonetweet immediately sprang up. But, wait! There’s even more. No rest for happy warriors when the incessantly whiny just keep shrieking.
More from the Washington Examiner.
President Obama isn’t happy with Mitt Romney’s attacks against him on Twitter. During his fundraiser in Baltimore today, the president complained about “the other side” and their campaign tactics against his economic message.
“(T)he other side feels that its enough for them to just sit back and say, ‘Things aren’t as good as they should be and it’s Obama’s fault.’” Obama said, according to the pool report. “And, you can pretty much put their campaign on, on a tweet and have some characters to spare.”
The GOP came through with a rapid response.
And Twitter users once again followed up with some Teachable Moments. A second hashtag was inspired: #Characterstospare. Oh, our aching sides! Of course, our sides aren’t aching as much as Obama’s huge and unwarranted ego is, evidently.
Double giggle-snorts! Melanie Roussell of the DNC pitifully tries to make a funny and hijack the hashtag.
Bless her heart! She’ll never learn either. Here is a tip for you, Melanie: President Obama is whining because y’all constantly fail at Twitter. Conservatives, on the other hand, are full of win on Twitter. Try to keep up.
Win for Ari Fleischer.
Obama attacks 1992 James Carville who famously said, "It's the economy, stupid." That was a tweet, before there were tweets.—
