Interior Ministry spokesman: Hosni Mubarak is in a ‘full coma’

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak slipped in and out of consciousness over the weekend and rumors of his death bounced around Twitter.

Today an Interior Ministry spokesman said he is in a “full coma.” His sons Gamal and Alaa will join him at the prison hospital.

The Interior Ministry spokesman told CNN:

His health has been deteriorating since the verdict, with high blood pressure, problems breathing, and irregular heart beat.
