As former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign comes to a close, it seems that he is subtly warming to the idea of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney being the GOP nominee. Now, he is admitting the inevitability of Romney reaching the 1144 delegate plateau, which would give him the nomination.
From @JoyLinFN #Newt Gingrich on WTMJ in WI: "I have no doubt that once he (#Romney) gets 1,144 delegates we will all unify & support him."—
