Philadelphia Eagles tackle Jason Peters has torn his Achilles tendon and is expected to miss a significant amount of practice and game time. He will have surgery to repair the injury on Tuesday. It is a tough blow for the Eagles as they prepare for what may be a promising 2012 season.
Crushing loss for the Eagles today with the Jason Peters injury. Players are rarely the same after tearing their Achilles.—

This is just an awful time for Philly injuries. Jason Peters out for season. Chris Pronger. Ryan Howard. Chase Utley. This is tough to take—
